I am a law graduate who has also completed a Masters degree in Management and Corporate Governance and working as a Legal Account Manager with TMF Group in Dublin, having obtained the GradISCA qualification. My education has allowed me to develop important skills such as how to process large amounts of information in a short space of time, as well as being able to deal with that information in an analytical and logical manner. Studying law has gave me a great thirst for knowledge not only in the legal world but also in related fields such as business. As a law student it is also important to become a good problem solver and to communicate effectively. Organisational skills I have developed are evident through my participation in a team who organised a sponsored walk for charity, raising £9000. My role involved working as part of a team to organize fundraising events, as well as organizing my own fundraising events individually. My voluntary work with a local special needs club allowed me to work with people from many different walks of life, and in my time in this club I won "Volunteer Personality of the Year", demonstrating my ability to socialize at all levels. Through studying Management and Corporate Governance I have gained knowledge in the field of business and finance, in relation to the law. I have carried the skills developed both here and in my law degree into my current role. I have been able to demonstrate my adaptability to new situations by being able to take on a large workload in a high pressure environment and getting to grips quickly with new terms and procedures.I have also served on the Board of Governors of local primary school, St. Malachy’s.
