Currently perform, but not limited to coordinatisation of all mobile plant maintenance execution activities, leading teams for daily maintenance, PM’s, secondary maintenance, and breakdown tasks for all mobile plant equipment onsite. I’m responsible for all shift maintenance execution activities in addition leading other special projects/activities and initiatives.I lead the MEM team of tradespersons and contractors in the safe execution of quality work ensuring that work management process is effectively followed. Core role responsibility is managing the safe execution of quality work, adhering work management practices, coordinating mobile plant wide maintenance activities in alignment with production targets. My key accountabilities include:• Provide safety leadership in the field for all off-shift maintenance activities.• Provide maintenance leadership to improve MTTR (mean time to repair) and improve production.• Improved work management health (CRI, compliance, backlogs)• Receive quality handover from prior shift maintenance teams.• Lead, and facilitate effective shift start (PSI) meetings.• Participate in Shift Alignment meetings (Operations, Maintenance, Control Room) to understand and align on shift maintenance priorities:o Is there safety critical issues that need maintenance attentiono Are we on plan for production or are their threats to achieving plan.• Facilitate daily maintenance prioritisation meetings – DDM, DRM.• Communicate clear priorities to shift maintenance teams.• Respond to priority maintenance calls and collaborate with operations to identify/troubleshoot problem/s.• Ensure maintainers have accurate work instructions (SWP’s, JHA’s.), parts are expedited as required, and correct tooling is available/utilised.• Facilitate Off-shift handover meeting.• Complete and distribute quality shift notes to all superintendents, Supervisors, and coordinators.• Ensure priorities are clearly communicated to shift maintenance teams.• Initiate escalation - Follow escalation matrix protocol, send incident reports as required per matrix.• Incidents – Follow incident reporting/Investigation procedures for any related issues.
