Working independently towards these objectives required me to be a self-motivated starter to get the tasks at hand accomplished. While delegating other things needing to be taken care of during my days off also required effective communication towards others including upholding company policies and procedures.

Continuing to build my renaissance man handy experience, I began to specialize into the electrical industry on a more commercial / industrial level. Going out onto job sites with all other crews not just your own such as plasterers, drywallers, brick layers, and all other types of contractors made us all become effective communicators to get jobs done and meet deadlines. From pulling wire, to assisting journeymen electricians to make up boxes, you must be extremely aware and ready to go and understand every task that needs to be done that day and plan accordingly.

Getting the privilege to work under a self-made family run handy man company like this was an excellent time to be employed with the company. Negotiating primarily with residential customers but also commercial, I'd work side by side with journeymen and masters of these various industries such as plumbing, drywalling, AC/Condensing, electrical, carpentry, wielding, and painting.

Though this location didn't have a drive thru window since it was located inside of a Walmart. This is before Subways took over inside Walmart's we see today. I got to experience what the taste of the workforce is like by effectively communicating tasks that needed to be accomplished with my coworkers, superiors, and customers with the result being happy and satisfied people.
