Strategic Actions—o Accountable for co-writing the Clare’s Emergency Operations Plan.o Introduced the design, coordination, and facilitating of all C.M.S. required exercises o Champion ongoing compliance with CMS EP rules for the facility.Results— Called upon background to author plans for searching for resident elopement. Fine-tuned other responses with input from various directors and department heads. Utilized HSEEP training and Table-top exercise development to design T.T.X.s for Leadership. Coordinated and facilitated The Clare’s participation in all city-wide, full-scale exercises. Aligned efforts with the Chicago Healthcare System Coalition for Preparedness and Response that included most hospitals and healthcare facilities in the Chicago area. As an executive committee member with the Healthcare Coalition, stand accountable for the Long-Term Healthcare Facility and Coalition members. Champion ways that the coalition can support L.T.C.s in fulfilling their CMS EP compliance. Honored with Manager of the Year 2020 for COVID—19 Response for unwavering focus on mitigation and response to the pandemic. Routinely met with leadership to map out effective steps and build a temporary negative-pressure section to house positive COVID patients while concurrently providing an area for the care of these patients while segregating them from the negative patients.  Activated an Emergency Medical System for the Clare. All staff is licensed E.M.T.s ready to respond anywhere in the building. This implementation drastically shortened the time that a resident waited for a medical response which on several occasions saved lives and limited long-term impairment to residents and staff.

Strategic Actions—o Tasked to oversee the routine duties for 10 guards at The Clare.o Handled all day-to-day interactions between AHPS and the Clare management.Results— Triggered proactive initiatives once becoming a Security Officer to introduce multiple and better ways to provide service to The Clare. Based on an assessment of the operational situation, it was recommended by the Project Manager to take over the account.  Utilized in-depth command of organizational and listening talents to deliver a better service to the client and ease the concerns with respective parties.
