Following my retirement from ESA, I have taken up an adjunct scientist position at the Max-Planck-Institute for Astronomy in Heidelberg, where I will continue to work on science from the James Webb Space Telescope and hopefully reconnect with ground-based astronomy. I will be working remotely from The Netherlands until we move to Germany later in the spring.

After co-founding Space Rocks in 2017, as a partnership between Twin V Ltd and the European Space Agency, I will be joining my partners in the company in a more hands-on way following my retirement from ESA.
In addition to my scientific research with the MPIA in Heidelberg and my scientific outreach activities with Space Rocks, I am also available for consultation on space science, science communications, art-science collaborations, and more, as well as media interviews and documentaries.

I am also an Interdisciplinary Scientist on the Science Working Group for the NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope.
