As the Senior Operations Manager, I ensure the vehicle / Equipment fleet of over 200 different assets are fully utilized on a daily basis thus maximum revenue. Also ensuring the vehicle / Equipment fleet & staff, are fully compliant with all Omani Transportation regulations whilst maintaining compliance within the different Oil Company’s (clients) concession areas. Also ensuring the policy's, procedures and inspections requirements for all assets are achieved. Offering technical advice & support regarding lifting plans, Crane capabilities, & required lifting equipment as the company's approved lifting person (NPORS).

The Oman

As the Senior Operations Manager I was responsible for the Implementation of road safety standards & procedures within the BP Logistical Management contract for Khazzan Logistics. Producing and implementing procedures for the Road Safety Management Teams (RSMT) while overseeing the implementation of the Logistical Management System (LMS). Ensuring the training & development of all staff within the project both Omani nationals & expats, this has been achieved through personnel development plan (PDP) implementation, whilst staying commercially focused at all times.

Afghanistan

Responsibility:Coordinate and control all freight forwarders (national and international) for the transportation of fuel to ISAF/NATO and DLA-E locations in Afghanistan Accurate accounting of all fuels transported (6 million liters per day) Audit and inspect sub-contractor compliance Reviewing and implementing operational and HSE procedures. Managed and developed a workforce of 50 personnel.
