Business Unit Leader for Higher Education, Science and Technology

I am the onsite team leader for a joint Venture for the Carl R. Darnall replacement hospital at Fort Hood. The project consists of 1million square feet of hospital, one million square feet of parking garages developed onto a 77 acre site. The Project is valued at over $530,000,000 and is being delivered as a design build contract through the United States Corps of Engineers

I oversaw multiple projects and teams different deliver systems through the State of Texas. Duties included leading the team through preconstruction and construction included, working closely with Owners, Architects and city officials with respect to budgets, compliance and logistics.Healthcare:• United Regional Healthcare Wichita Falls, TX New Patient tower with multiple departments, including imagining, women’s health, surgery and LDR. • Midland Memorial Hospital, Midland Texas, New seven story hospital tower providing in patient services, imagining, renovations to the existing hospital, upgrades and additions to the existing Central Utility Plant, relocation of the city roads, New five Story Parking garage and multiple surface lots.• Electra Memorial Hospital, Electra TX. Preconstruction and Planning on the renovations and addition for the existing hospital. Multi-phased project.Entertainment:• City Performance Hall: City of Dallas: New multipurpose theater for the City of Dallas, located in the Cities entertainment district. 1800 seat theatre, orchestra pit, integrated lighting and electronics, acoustics associated with articulated board formed 40’ high concrete walls. Worked with the city officials on meeting small business goals, in spite of the specialized nature of the construction.• Box Office and Cafe: Dallas Center for the Performing Arts. Preconstruction, the planning and budgeting of New Ticket booth and Café for the Arts district venues. Worked to achieve an extremely expensive design into the owners’ budget. I worked closely with the designer’s to choose materials and construction techniques that would allow the vision to remain but at a more economical solution.Parking Structures:• The Silver Garage, Dallas TX. Dallas Center for the Preforming Arts: Single story underground parking structure that would serve as foundation for the City of Dallas’s Performance Hall. .
