- Built the front end for a file management system, supporting file previews for a wide variety of file types, sorting, filtering, multiple presentation formats (list vs cards), search, and background file uploads.- Worked with a small team of developers to build a mobile port of our website, partially with react-native code, and partially via react-native webview usage, and although we didn’t have the bandwidth to write the whole thing in react-native, leveraging the webview did allow us to get it spun up in only a couple months with 100% functional parity to the desktop experience.- Worked with a team of developers on an Assembly chrome extension project, helping to build out the UI and in particular supporting accessibility options.- Completed a UI redesign of the sites main page, made regular performance optimizations as part of my weekly tasks, kept libraries up to date, wrote automated tests via Playwright, leveraged websockets to implement real time UI updates, fixed many a bug, and completed many more smaller projects.

Worked as the sole front-end developer for Happener LLC, in order to build out an iOS/Android application using React-Native, React JS, Redux, and several other React libraries.I worked on all critical front-end features necessary for the application to enter alpha, which included a login screen, an advanced search page, two pages to list returned information from backend calls based upon the users search input, and a page detailing information about a users final selection. I built out all necessary navigation, data handling, e.t.c. for these components.

During my time at Azubu, I worked on a number of projects, chief among them building out and re-styling the chat client, developing and styling several iterations of the front page and channel pages, and working on hot-fixes and bug-fixes for the site at large.I primarily worked in Javascript using the Angular 1 framework to build out new features and functions on the front page and channel pages, as well as using HTML5 and the SASS css extension language to implement web page styling. In addition the chat client used a combination of HTML5, PHP, and Adobe Flash, so I learned a bit about those languages as well.

Program design: Designed and taught a two-week lesson plan to two groups of fifteen elementary school students to teach them the fundamentals of game design, and to guide them in designing a simple game.Instruction: Created lectures and tutorials, and assisted students one-on-one with design questions or programming problems.

Master-Replica client development: Translated a Master-Replica client pair from Java to C# that served as example software for ActiveSpaces, a distributed in-memory data grid. The client pair is intended to teach users how to set up control spaces for both client types within the data grid, how the grid operates and handles things like recurrence, and how to invoke a variety of command types on the stored data.Quality assurance: Tested the ActiveSpaces product in an attempt to find bugs, crash errors, and other quirks that would hamper usability, and reported them to my manager and the development team at meetings.
