As development director I lead the overall strategy and customer account for one of the ALTEN’s largest aerospace clients.

Having taken a break from corporate life during the pandemic I decided to take a different direction for a while and to follow my passion for baking, so I established a brand new patisserie, mmacaron. Having established the business just over a year ago and in the midst of a global pandemic followed by financial crisis I have lead the business to be self sustaining operationally and already beating business plan, reaching profitability within 18 months. I now employ 6 people locally, built a large following on social media and received national press coverage, with business now poised for growth in year 2.

Trustee director of Rolls-Royce UK Pension Fund, accountable for running a £10bn+ DB pension scheme that is in surplus, having helped lead two major strategic initiates in the fund; one being one of the UK's largest ever pension buys outs at over £4bn and the second being closure of the fund to future accrual.

Definition and delivery of a £1.5bn portfolio of projects and programmes, including the global infrastructure programme of previous role, driving £2bn of benefits. In addition I lead the programme management function with over 100 project managers reporting to me, providing functional direction, guidance and coaching and established a benchmark Programme Management Office.

Accountable for the delivery of a £700m global infrastructure programme to define and deliver a global factory footprint to deliver an engine overhaul capability and capacity for the civil aerospace engine fleet.

I manage the overall master schedule for the portfolio of civil aerospace engine programmes for Rolls-Royce, focussing on deployment of robust portfolio and programme management methods across the business to enable successful delivery. I lead a team of 30 master schedulers and PMO leads deployed into each programme.

Reporting to the Programme Executive I lead the development and delivery of the upgraded Trent 900 Engines to meet the Emirates A380 order, one of the company's largest ever deals worth over $9bn. Due to the contract timing and specification this programme had to be delivered in a totally new and innovative way using more agile methods. I successfully delivered the tranche 1 engines worth over £100m in benefits to the contract.

Reporting to the Programme Executive, I lead the certification and entry into service programme of work for the company's flagship engine programme, the Trent XWB which was delivered on time in full to the customer. As well as leading internally I played a leading role in managing customer relationship with Airbus for this programme ensuring alignment between us at all times to deliver a successful programme.

I run the programme for delivering the transmissions, structures and drives in the core engine for the Trent XWB programme. I am responsible for creating a clear direction and ensuring the team delivers the programme.

Responsible for product positioning of the Trent 1000 engine for the Boeing 787 aircraft in the Market. Provide specialist product marketing support to sales team and marketing support to the engine project team.
