Evaluation of the Services offered by Doctors of the World (DoW) Mobile Health Clinic in Victoria BC.This project evaluated the services offered by the mobile health clinic operated by Doctors of the World in Victoria BC. The mobile health clinic had been in operation since April 2018 and there was identified need for an evaluation that provides lessons learned, an understanding of the process and related outcomes of this program. Objectives of this research: Conduct an independent evaluation to:- Assess the impact of activities conducted between 1 of April 2019 and 31 of March 2020- Assess if the goal to ensure increased access to health care services for marginalisedpeople was reached- Assess how many people were connected into the public health system (Bridging as aresult of contact with the mobile/shifting the use of health services)- Assess how many people the mobile health clinic served that were connected to otherservices- Assess satisfaction and relevance of the mobile health clinic for service users, partners(community and institutional) and volunteers- Contribute to successful scale up of the programMethodology- Mixed methods: qualitative (interviews with nurses, service users, volunteers,stakeholders and main partners) and quantitative (data from mobile health clinic EMR)- Developmental approach

Principle Investigator (2016 – 2018): Home When Away: Circular Migration, Mobile Technology, and Changing Perceptions of Home and Community in De-Industrial Cape Breton. This study examines the lived experiences of Canadian circular migrant industrial resource extraction labourers and their families as they engage in strategies to navigate and negotiate precarious life-ways brought on by de-industrialization and the closing of industrial coal mines in the town of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia.

Co-Investigator involved in interviewing, filming, editing, and sound design for: "Waste Away", an ethnographic film that looks at how Victoria residents understand and use waste disposal and recycling services and the disconnect between users and service providers.

Format as Vehicle: Victoria Cassette Tape Culture. This project examined how, and why, musicians, record labels, and music consumers use the physical cassette tape medium in an age of digital formats, such as streaming and MP3s.
