Mark works in the environmental consulting field. He has worked on environmental issues since the mid-1970, on projects dealing with air, water, waste management and environmental enforcement. In the past 20 years Marks efforts have been directed mostly to recycling materials, and to producer responsibility matters. As an early participant in helping to shape curbside recycling in Ontario, Canada, he helped get business, municipalities , provincial governments and waste management companies working together to recycle household recyclables. He has worked across Canada helping to design and implement various recycling programs in several Canadian provinces.A unique part of Mark's expertise, is conducting litter audits for cities and provincial authorities. MGM Management has completed 22 litter audits amassing a data base of nearly 85,000 observations describing litter on city streets. Clients use this information to design litter reduction programs and to measure the results of this efforts. Another unique service is quantifying graffiti for municipal clients.
