Currently a Paramedic with Hato Hone St John. Successfully completed the Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic) at Whitireia in late 2020. My role with New Zealand Police involved supporting forensic specialists and front line officers in the investigation of electronically enabled offending. As exhibit custodian I was responsible for thousands of pieces of evidence during my time with Police.In addition to full-time employment I volunteered as a New Zealand Cadet Forces Officer. I have trained countless young leaders and mentored many fine upcoming officers. I was responsible for the development of a Army Cadet Unit from a small group of keen youth in a small rural town. Over two years I built the local relationships and support, recruited leaders, delivered training and sourced both facilities and equipment. This effort saw the development of a strong platoon ready to apply for recognition as a Cadet unit in it’s own right.
