Proud to be from the West of Ireland, Shannon, Co. Clare. My loves, after Friends and Family, are Sports, Travel and new Experiences. Currently, I am employed with Lotus Works as an Instrument and Control Technician in their Client's Semi Conductor site in Leixlip, Kildare. I enjoy my work as an I&C Tech, figuring out how physical apparatus such as Instruments and PLC's can be programmed to create control systems. These systems monitor and regulate environmental setpoints such as in temperature, humidity, fluid flow, pH etc. I am a graduate of the Physics and Instrumentation Ordinary Degree at Atlantic Technological University. During my education I developed skills in Instrumentation, Imaging, 3D Printing, Electronics, Control, Automation and Mathematics. I also have technical abilities in problem solving and data analysis. During my studies I developed 3 different technical projects. A Turbidity sensor, using fundamental understanding of electronics. A Self-Counting Cash Register, calibrated from the specific weight of each coin. Finally, a wind tunnel, developed with my placement company P&O Maritime, used as a means to test and profile the accuracy of their Ultrasonic Anemometers.I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and better myself!
