Since 2012, I have been happily working at Cape Cod Church. First came on board as the project manager on a new construction project. We self-performed on a new 40,000 sq. ft facility which came in on schedule and under budget ($135 per sq ft ). The church achieved the Advanced Building Core Performance Guidelines for energy efficiency and won a prestigious "Best New Design" award from Worship Facilities magazine in 2014. With the completion of the Church building, my role expanded to Director of Operations at the church and now Executive Director - helping the largest church on Cape Cod to continue to grow by helping others grow in their spiritual life. Prior to Cape Cod Church, I received a Masters Certificate in Sustainability from Boston Architectural College (2008) and also studied at Harvard University under Leith Sharp, the founding Director of the Office of Sustainability at Harvard. As part of my graduate studies, I conducted industry-first research surveys of sustainability practices among NFL, MBA NHL and NBA pro sports teams, NCAA athletic departments and sports fans. I founded ProGreenSports, Inc. and consulted with several professional teams, advocating a profit-driven business model for adopting environmental initiatives. I also consulted with several leading environmental firms (Building Green, Inc and John Todd Ecological) In a previous life, I was President of Onset Computer, Inc, responsible for leading this highly profitable manufacturer of electronic data measurement systems with 120 employees. Revenue and profit increased by over 200% during my tenure as President (1998-2006). We developed an industry leading brand and successfully grew sales in all worldwide markets.
