As a Special Agent (S/A) with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), I have conducted large scale investigations into international drug trafficking organizations based throughout Central and South America. These investigations have included coordination with United States military assets and their related entities. In 2014, I began supervising a Tactical Diversion Squad (TDS) that consisted of Special Agents, Task Force Officers and Diversion Investigators that targeted rogue doctors and pharmacists who operate outside the accepted professional scope and distribute opiate based pharmaceuticals to those who are diverting the drugs for illicit use and illegal gain. These TDS groups are crucial to the Pill Mill and Opiate Epidemic that has gripped not only central Florida but the entire country as a whole. In 2017, I transition to supervising a group of Special Agents and Intelligence Research Analyst who target Trans-National Criminal Organizations usage of maritime conveyances to transport multi-ton loads of cocaine from South America to Central America and the United States. As of 2019, I have been part of a pilot project to re-emphasize domestic investigations into precursor chemicals and the diversion of those chemicals for illicit usages (ie use in cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and fentanyl production laboratories). These investigations are anchored domestically but are completely international in scope. I have served two tours overseas in South American, traveled extensively in Central and South America and have a strong professional working proficiency of Spanish.

As a Public Safety Officer, I was responsible for front line fire suppression as well as police patrol activities. During my tenure at ADPS, I became a state certified fire instructor as well as a police FTO within the department. I was further assigned to the department's Special Response Team and trained regularly with the department's Bloodhound Tracking Unit.
