The time has come for me to put all the skills I have been acquiring and honing over the past 20+ years to the test. In my role as Centre Manager I am responsible for day to day Operations, Business development, General Management, Forecasting, Managing and realising growth potential within the target demographic. In my time with Sytner I have successfully overseen the implementation of a Multi-Million Pound Workshop. The facility houses in house Logistics including Valeting, storage and imaging for the Group. The concept of a Prep Centre did not exist prior to my appointment and I was afforded the opportunity to build a fresh team with which to realise my vision of what could be achieved with such a facility. A number of viable revenue streams were identified and we endeavored to establish and nurture relationships within the various sectors relating these streams. These included Corporate and Fleet vehicle sales, DE fleeted vehicles and Used vehicles as well as the obvious New Vehicle Preparation to name but a few. The project has proved to be successful and has been an excellent showcase for the Group to show off our passion for Customer Service and indeed generally being great at what we do.

Bespoke vehicle solutions.

After many years of commuting into London on a daily basis, I decided I would like to gain a bit more stability in the automotive field. Upon researching the main players in the field I noted that Nene Overland were an expanding and exciting prospect for someone like myself. I began a process to integrate myself with Nene by spending some time at their existing branch in Peterborough which allowed me to better understand the companies principle values and aspirations. Very valuable time indeed as I was able to take away from this a core set of ideas to utilise while setting up a new branch of Nene Overland in Maidenhead. This has been an interesting and varied opportunity which I am enjoying thoroughly, every day brings a new set of challenges which myself and my team meet with vigour and enjoyment. I can only see this company going from strength to strength in our chosen fields and am proud to be a part of what is shaping up to be an amazing prospect.

After 2 years with Design Scene a new opportunity arose for me with Starlight Design. A large established UK and international events supplier. Starlight are a turnkey solution for many corporate and private event, offering event design, lighting,sound and even fireworks services. I was responsible for smooth day to day operations, efficient use of logistics and directly responsible for full time and freelance staff members. During my time here many existing processes were streamlined and approached with a more commercial mindset, including a complete warehouse redesign and streamlining which was achieved with little to no impact on current productions.

Responsible for smooth day to day operations and managed major client events such as Google keynotes and M&S indaba`s. An interesting position which allowed me to further my Project management skills, working with a team of designers and Production staff we conceived and realised some amazing events and Marketing exercises. A multi layered role in as much as I was responsible for day to day operations as well as site related responsibilities. I was also responsible for H&S practices within the workplace and on site. During my time here I completely redesigned the stock system and warehousing arrangements allowing the company to vastly increase stocked asset size and efficiency of logistics.

After deciding that it was time for new challenges, I started to take on more freelance work and Project Management roles in South Africa. This led me to meet many International players within the Events Industry and I would ultimately relocate to the UK in early May 2005 to pursue bigger and better roles and indeed Projects. I would say it was invaluable as I took a lot from my time freelancing and to this day still have key resources and people that I goto on a daily basis for advice and information when needed.

A production company run by myself and a prominent Cape Town Graphic artist (Risk Wun) We provided creative consultancy to British American Tobacco and Created our own diverse and groundbreaking events and media. We successfully ran this company as a part time enterprise alongside full time careers until April 2005 when I decided to move to new pastures, namely the UK.

Working alongside some of the finest creative software developers and designers in Cape Town, we provided Hardware and Network support to some of the biggest Production houses within the Film and Commercial industries that thrive in South Africa. I was responsible for ensuring smooth day to day operations, staff welfare, customer satisfaction and logistics. We were also designing and launching various creative campaigns for some of our customers who were looking to rebrand and diversify their existing concerns. This was a role that I thoroughly enjoyed and was lucky to work with some amazing people during my brief time here, I only left Lightspeed as I was relocating to the UK to pursue further challenges.

A fantastic little studio and label producing some of South Africa finest beats, rhymes and life. I was involved in many interesting and diverse projects ranging from commercial mixdowns and voiceover work to full multimedia packages showcasing talent and new releases. It must be noted that this label is still going strong to this day and if anybody ever needs music content or original production, contact Roach or Fletcher as these guys are the cream of the industry!
