I started buying cars in 1976 in New York City, not classy Manhatten but on Jerome Ave. in the Bronx. Buying cars there gives you a quick, sometimes expensive education. Strictly wholesale, all the dealers there were very well groomed at being the sharpist dealers I have ever seen. I was not yet 20 years old and I learned how to buy quickly. Use your head or get eaten up, that was the way it was there. that was the best education one could get if you wanted to wholesale automobiles.
