At Risky Kids, the goal is to develop risk intelligence and help children reach their potential by utilising developmental psychology; “Risky Play”. Children are guided through a process to gain a better understanding of their minds and bodies through risks and challenges. This program incorporates elements of parkour, free running, acrobatics and stunt skills.‘Risky Play’ encourages children to manage perceived risks and build their confidence with the guidance of Risky Kids coaches

The Duty Manager has delegated authority of the Centre Manager. As well as identifying potential risk factors and taking steps to reduce those risks, Duty Managers will act as positive role models in an effort to build strong people, strong families and strong communities within the YMCA community.Duty Managers will maintain a broad knowledge of centre programs and services whilst at the same time managing a range of centre functions whilst on shift which may include; customer service, café, safety, staff rosters and breaks, plant operations, cash balancing, customer education, conflict resolution and general maintenance/cleaning.

The position requires you to work as part of a team committed to goals and mission that actively fosters community participation and involvement. The Pool Lifeguard’s primary responsibility is to ensure the patrons safety in the aquatic area through identifying risks and hazards, and preventing accidents before they occur. This role is very public and as such you are an ambassador of both the YMCA and the City of Horsham. It is expected your exemplary behaviour reflects this at all times. You will be required to ensure users of the facility comply with the rules as specified on the signage at the facility.

The Health & Fitness Instructor must possess a genuine desire to encourage and support members to achieve their health and fitness goals. The Instructor is relied upon to motivate, educate and enhance each member’s experience. Through developing a rapport with members, the Health & Fitness Instructor fosters a commitment to their improved health and wellbeing

The Centre Director acts in a 2IC role at the Horsham Aquatic Centre working autonomously under broad to strategic direction in relation to work priorities and practices. The Centre Director oversees, • Centre Operations • OHS• Administration • Group Fitness• Cleaners • Health and Fitness and• Duty Managers The Centre Director provides leadership and direction to the duty managers, cleaning staff, maintenance staff, the lifeguard team, Group Fitness Instructors and Health and Fitness staff in conjunction with the Operations Team Leader and Health and Fitness Coordinator ensuring these areas offer the highest possible service.

The Centre Operations Director is a part of the Senior Management team at the Horsham Aquatic Centre, and oversees all centre operations including OHS, cleanliness of centre, direct debit administration, centre social media and website and logging of all incidents on INX.The Centre Operations Director ensured that the back office system of the centre operate efficiently and effectively while at the same time monitoring budgetary restraints and drive the community engagement in the Horsham Aquatic Centre Community Strategy.

Operations Team Leader needs experience in plant operations or strong mechanical knowledge, have great communication skills and can thrive working in a people based environment. The Operations Coordinator will provide leadership and direction to a number of staff teams and is central in the presentation of the facility to the community.Must have knowledge of all aspects of safety on pool side, Knowledge and understanding of Pool and Plant Operations, experience in mentoring staff, providing direction and training, a proven ability in addressing challenges of OHS compliance, assist in the implementation of risk management and risk reduction strategies and strong commitment to developing a culture of excellence among the staff teams under your responsibility.

The service promotes the physical, emotional, social, spiritual and psychological well being of service users through ongoing case management and support, solution focused reunification and intensive caregiver support and training.To complete case management services with High Risk Adolescents using a range of therapeutic options as allocated, prepare reports as required by the Department of Human Services, ensure the young people and linked with professional supports and involve the young people and families in all decision making.

The Therapeutic Project officer is responsible for developing and demonstrating a therapeutic care approach to caring for children who are in out of home care. The position is responsible for the training and support of out of home care workers and volunteer foster carers and provide case management to children and young people placed in the out of home care programs. The position may require participation as a member of the children and young people’s care team to ensure an integrated approach to therapeutic practice. The position will also contribute to the recruitment and assessment of volunteer care providers as required.The position will be expected to carry a caseload and also contribute as a member of the wider out of home care team to the development of quality out of home care services.

Contact Officers are employees who have volunteered to be specially trained to provide other employees with confidential information and support to address discrimination, harassment or bullying in the workplace. They cannot be involved in supporting both the complainant and the person the complainant has the grievance with.Contact Officers have access to information about complaint resolution options within and outside the agency and provide support to persons in making informed decisions about how best to address the grievance.

The Coordinator manages and implements the project including the ongoing delivery of programs and services in consultation with the advisory group and operational committee. The aim of this position is to coordinate programs and services to socially and geographically isolated and/or economically disadvantaged communities across the Wimmera region with access to health professionals and community services via the community centre. The community centre will provide a range of social and recreational activities as well as access to workers from across the health, welfare and education sectors with the aim of reducing barriers to service access.
