I have a passion and distinct ability to strategically mix design, emotion, and economics to create memorable experiences that stimulate curiosity, entertain, foster engagement, showcase new ideas, continually evolve, and exceed expectation.My college education trained me to fulfill this passion by designing for theatre. It was a part-time job at a store where I liked to browse that set the course for twenty years of profitable “retail theater” success. Over those years I have grown and transformed two not-for-profit retail operations from ho-hum to celebrity-favored, audience loved, and press lauded destinations of discovery with dedicated staff presenting distinctive merchandise from creative talents around the globe that resonated with diverse and multi-generational audiences.I am a well-rounded and see the big picture. I excel using a combination of skills from both the right and left hemisphere of the brain. I am creative, collaborative, design savvy, strategic, innovative, and analytical. Therefore I am relatable to the vast array of personalities and relevant functions necessary in a cultural and creative business environment. I find ways to get people interested, connected, and contributing, allowing for transformation.
