I have approximately 34 years of experience and expertise in a wide variety of real estate-related transactions. I have been very fortunate to have had many opportunities to represent sophisticated parties in connection with significant and often complex transactions. Background experience includes the following: 1) Extensive experience in leasing transactions representing both landlords and tenants; 2) Specialization in leasing transactions involving office, retail (restaurant and others), operating, and credit/ground leases, sublease transactions, and sale/leaseback transactions; 3) Guiding large and small clients through acquisition and finance transactions; 4) Participating post-acquisition in renovation, management and lease-up, redevelopment, refinance, and disposition of various types of commercial real estate projects; 5) Extensive experience in real estate acquisitions and sales including transactions involving office buildings, hotels, retail centers and malls, industrial projects, and unimproved land; and 6) Real estate finance experience includes representing both lenders and borrowers ranging from initial funding transactions, loan servicing matters, and collection efforts.Over the last four years, I have gained significant experience working on various types of document review projects, both plaintiff-side and defendant-side. Project types have included the following: attorney/client privilege, confidentiality, redaction, relevance, responsiveness, and issues identification coding projects utilizing Relativity, KLDiscovery, Disco, Catalyst Insite, Nuix Discover, and Driven; document review/analysis/coding in connection with auto industry regulatory investigation utilizing Relativity; document review, borrower successor-in-interest analysis, and borrower interaction analysis to determine financial industry regulatory compliance/non-compliance in connection with CFPB dual tracking investigation (project selection for attorneys with understanding of legislation, regulations, and investor guidelines for default servicing industry); products liability disputes and mass torts claims; and data breach analysis.
