Responsible for the design and implementation of a Next Generation Sequencing data processing pipeline. Using a combination of microservices, AWS SQS, AWS Kinesis, AWS EKS and MongoDB, the Cloud based system routinely processes terabytes of data. Technical lead over a five-person DevOps team and eight-person software engineering team in a healthcare setting.
