Mark Moon is currently the President of MFM Advisory Services which provides consulting services focused on strategy development, executive coaching and organizational design/alignment. Prior to this role, Mark was the President for Motorola Solutions, Inc. He left the company at the end of 2016 after an outstanding 30+ year career. Prior to his departure, he was responsible for the strategy of the company and leading all aspects of global operations including Sales and Marketing, Product Research and Development, Software and Services, and Supply Chain. At Motorola he held a variety of leadership roles culminating in the responsibility for leading 10,000+ employees located in 100+ countries and serving as the face and voice of the company to customers and partners around the world. In addition, he was previously Chairman of the Board of Directors for Vertex Standard, a Motorola joint venture headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.Mark is currently on the Board of Directors for Distributions Solutions Group (DSGR), Inc. which is a combination of several companies which are premier distributors of products and services. In addition, he serves as an advisor and operating partner for Luther King Capital Management. He also serves on the Board of Directors for BearCom LLC, which is the largest value-added distributor of two-way radio communications and solutions in North America.Throughout his career Mark has consistently demonstrated his ability to build, coach and lead highly effective teams, develop a clear vision and strategy, create the right organizational structure and leadership team and establish a consistent cadence to get stakeholder “buy-in” and deliver results.He earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was named to the school’s Academy of Distinguished Engineering Alumni in 2014 and has served on the Advisory Board of the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering. He presently serves on the Alexander-Tharpe Fund at Georgia Tech.
