Interviewed, made final hiring decisions, established a formal mentor/mentee system, set performance goals, evaluated performance, disciplined, and released employees as necessary. Established SDLC processes, coding standards, and documentation policies. Conducted code reviews and mentored teams in technical and business subjects. Established quality control systems and policies to ensure systems operated as expected and allow us the opportunity to address issues before the customer is impacted.Managed the project to replace APAC’s entire reporting infrastructure with a Sarbanes-Oxley compliant Data Warehousing solution for both internal and external customers using Pro*C and PL/SQL with Oracle database under HPUX. Successfully released this high priority, high pressure project on time with no significant issues. Received a commendation from the company founder and CEO for this work.Managed a team of developers who created, maintained, and enhanced e.PAC™, APAC’s pure Java n-tier customer contact platform that integrated and encapsulated inbound calls, outbound dialing, web chat, database connection pools, and CSR scripting.Managed the team responsible for updating the CSR script and supporting software for APAC’s largest client. Identified many preexisting issues and designed solutions that both simplified the system and improved performance allowing APAC to become this client’s #1 rated vendor in IT. Received APAC’s IT Employee of the Quarter Award for this work.
