I was one of two Online Sales and Service Reps for all of ADESA at their Boston location. I helped manage all of the transactions that took place online through our web based auction for both private and corporate dealers.Online sales at ADESA Boston focus more on customers who are unable to physically attend auctions and need trustworthy contacts on the inside with prompt communication skills to assist on all of their purchase/selling needs. Due to the size of the auction, and somewhat recent development of our web based operation, the online team was arranged to provide more of a full service treatment to encourage online use and assure sufficient function of our online platform.I became very familiar with using Database Management systems (of which there were a few) as well as Customer Relationship Management systems in order to track progress, run reports, and present relative information to other departments.This was a unique opportunity because I was able to work in a smaller department of a big company yet had the power and tools to bring a more personal level of interaction to my customers on behalf of ADESA.Our online team responsibilities included:• Title transfer, sales contracts, Receipts, passes for vehicle check out, and all other associated paperwork• All pricing information/trends from both buyer and seller sides• Inventory tracking so that relevant parties can be made aware of offerings• Technical support for using website for auction• First line of communications, during work day and after hours, for dealers needing vehicle condition reviews, repair assessment, check out assistance, or any other type of on-site service• Online monitoring for behavioral and interest trends• Sufficient use of DBMs and CRMs for all relative purposes• On site navigation and inventory coordination

Vehicle Inspector responsibilities include:Inspecting vehicles for damage, missing parts, and mechanical problems upon arrival at the auction and completing required electronic vehicle inspections promptly and accurately. Estimating repair costs as well as time needed to perform repairs.

ADESA Boston is one of the largest wholesale auto-auctions in the Nation that operates out of the old GM plant in Framingham, Massachusetts. As a dealer relations representative at ADESA, my responsibilities include:Participating in business development by being highly responsive to customer needs and targeting new markets while maintaining existing auction business.Assisting with the development of and maintenance of client relationships with focus on building buyer base to sell inventoryEducating clients on new and existing services to meet overall company goals and support the auctions CSI promotion as well as reporting to designated auction managers in conjunction with district dealer relations manager.

Esco Tool is one of the leading manufacturers of portable machines for power plant maintenance and repair. As the marketing assistant for this family owned and operated company, my responsibilities during the summer and winters included:Work with manufacturing team to assemble machines including beveling tools, saws, and tube expanders.Office work as filing assistant, organizing invoices, sales leads and receipts as well as owners manuals for products.Promoted power plant related product line through catalogues and video demonstration, experience with scene setup, filming, and editing (Final Cut Pro and Adobe Suite).Traveled to customer sites with sales associate to give demonstrations and build relationships with new potential clients.

UVM Rescue is a student run organization that is in charge of operating 2 advanced life support ambulances 24/7, 365 days a year. This volunteer organization not only serves the UVM campus but also the great Burlington area (district 3, Chittenden County). My role as a regular member and responsibilities as the squad Vehicle Officer included:Minimum 20 hours a week volunteering as a certified Emergency Medical Technician, providing patient evaluation, care, transport, and post transport documentation.Running presentations of ambulance operations for public relation events involving preschoolers, college students, and observational attendees.Responsible for truck presentation, maintenance, and scheduling updates and equipment change-overs for both of UVM's ALS ambulances.
