Field Services Manager
CurrentResponsible for recruitment, selection and induction of security officers within my portfolio and their on-going training and performance whilst on my customer’s sites.Line management of operational security staff in conjunction with our companies’ human resources policies. This will include performance management, time-keeping, sickness/leave monitoring, SIA license compliance and advance adjustments to the rosters where necessary to avoid service issues or shortages within my portfolio. Ensuring operational staff fully understands the importance of their role in ensuring effective, efficient security service delivery to the clients. Carry out annual appraisal of all security officers within my area, monthly formal meetings with all my customers within my portfolio and updating all actionable concerns highlighted by customers to ensure all related issues are addressed. Work with the HR Manager, Scheduling manager and office personnel so that operational matters and issues do not conflict and are understood. Health and Safety is monitored within my operational area on a regular basis. Ensuring complaints received from clients are dealt with promptly and adequately investigated. This will include proactive management to ensure reasons for complaint are eliminated or diminished as far as possible. Problem solving, and trouble-shooting according to the demands of any particular operational situation as and when brought to my attention by the scheduling team. On call 24 hours per day for my area of responsibility and duty manager every alternate weekend to support the control room. To ensure that issues raised by my security officers are dealt with promptly by the various departments and that my officers remain motivated to ensure proper service levels are maintained. Work with the scheduling Team to provide and manage an accurate operations roster for my area of responsibility.
