My main duties were:- Enhance existing or create new automated business processes to be integrated into a homegrown application.- Developer testing for all Website and business process changes.- Update code repository (CVS/SVN) with latest enhancements/bug fixes/release scripts. - SonarQube source code vulnerability scanning.- Document release notes and support documentation.- Developer code reviews, release script generation and release to Production Control team for deployment into production environment.- Upgrade needed system components to comply with company infrastructure/data/security/SOX compliance policy requirements.- Lead developer for OCR/OpenText archiving process to OpenText Content Server repository, provide support, solution review and recommendations.- Lead developer for OpenText migration tool development and legacy project migration activities.- Support for developed Customer Data Management System as per new customer requirements.- Work closely with project management for all related development and migration tasks to ensure accurate time estimates and schedules were published and complied with.- Documented solution designs after reviewing the business requirement documentation and worked with project managers and the business to ensure the solution was accurate and fit for purpose.- Worked closely with Enterprise Apps Developers/TechOps/DBA’s/business for production support issues which are raised through the IT Helpdesk.- Provide Microsoft SQL Server DB tuning as required on all Enterprise Applications databases. Development database restore and synchronisation with production.- Monitor SQL Server automated source code check-in process and correct any issues as required.- Develop solutions for Enterprise Applications as per ad hoc customer requirements.

Worked in the Compaq Availability and Reliability Services GroupResponsible for developing an SLA with a 3rd party support group for Compaq Services. Implemented a Web call handling application to aid customer issue reporting. Log file analysis program was developed to allow multiple systems to be grouped into a logical cluster for reporting purposes.Supported data collection process.

Worked within the Shop floor Control Development Group.Main tasks included upgrading legacy Shop floor control application to Microsoft SQL Server and clients to Windows 95. Implemented solution using Microsoft Transaction Server, databases (Oracle 8, Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 & 7) and upgraded code base from VB 5 to 6.Performance tuning skills used for client application, database and system architecture.Provided 24x7 support for shop floor and SAP R/3 production order issues.
