CurrentProfessional ExperienceCity of San Jose ▪ HVAC Supervisor ▪ 2011 to PresentJob Duties: • Supervise staff of 13 including HVAC Techs, Network BMS Engineers and Maintenance Workers• Daily Staff Assignment Oversite• Responsible for HVAC systems at 300 city government buildings; 4,000,000 sq. ft., across city limits.• Project Estimating up to 300 Tons. Built-up and package systems. • Contract Manager; responsible for oversite, work order creation, verification of work performed, invoice approval, 14 contractors with one or multiyear contracts.• Preventive Maintenance Manager using InFor software. PM work performed with a combination of contractor support and line staff. PM’s for Water Treatment, chiller/ boiler annual maintenance, Building Control commissioning and airfilter/drivebelts on package equipment or boxcars. Corrective maintenance follow up linked to PM’s.• Maintain excellent communication and lead meetings to coordinate invasive HVAC work with sensitive client departments; Police Crime Labs, Fire Dispatch, 911 Call Center, City Hall, Animal Care Adoption Center• Fully background checked with San Jose PD and Fed. Gov. ( minimum level ) for US Patient Trade Office- San Jose City Hall Office
