I have over 20 years experience in the Sports and Fitness Industry, working with Manchester City Council and Fletcher Moss Rangers JFC. I am a Level 2 qualified Football, Badminton and Handball Coach and a level 1 qualified coach in , basketball, Boxing, Tennis and Cricket with 10 years experience coaching these sports along with Hockey. I am also a qualified multi skills/sports coach running sessions as after school clubs and school holiday courses.I started out in the fitness industry in the private sector at the Village Hotel Cheadle as a Gym Instructor, I setup a running club for beginners through to advanced with three groups running various routes and distances each week. I moved on after just over a year to Manage the Community Gym and Sports Facility at Ashton on Mersey Health & Fitness Centre in Trafford, the running clubs carried on and I managed these for a further four years as a private instructor with some fantastic results helping members complete a number of 10K runs and half marathons with me.I managed the Ashton on Mersey Centre for just over a year before I took the role of Community and Facility Sports Development Manager at Levenshulme Community Health & Fitness Centre.I have completed further qualifications over the past ten years gaining my GP Referral Certificate, Nutrition & Weight Management and Obesity & Nutrition, Boxercise, Circuit Training, Spinning, Core Stability, Bootcamp and other sports workshops. In 2016 I completed my Level 3 in Exercise and Disability with Adlib Training, and work with the Pure Innovations team providing eight hours a week of fun physical games and activities including Boccia, every session is different!I am currently in the process of completing my level 3 PT and business management Course which includes further workshops in Spinning, Exercise Management, Advanced Fitness Testing and Functional resistance training. These have now all been completed bar the business module.
