Data Analyst
Youth for Sustainable Development has offered me numerous learning points; having taken up different roles at the organization. I was involved as a data analyst, data entry clerk, rapporteur, facilitator, research assistant, and research interviewer. I was involved as follows:• Co-facilitated teaching the SWOT analysis for businesses and digital skills to over 50 mentees.• Assisted in planning and attended over 10 successful Active Citizenship Days (ACDs).• Authored over 7 detailed reports on various conferences and meetings, each averaging 7 pages.• Delivered all reports within 3 working days, ensuring timely dissemination of information.• Covered an average of 3 key topics per report, providing comprehensive analysis and insights.• Reports were used to inform policy decisions strategic planning, and follow-up actions in major projects.• Received commendations from senior officials for clarity and thoroughness.• Translated and validated the Swahili tool for the CDSC for YRB midline survey.• Mobilized over 50 household heads and youths for the CDSC for YRB midline survey.• Collaborated with a team of 4 researchers in data collection with the KoboToolbox.• Conducted over 40 surveys on a mid-line survey for youths and household heads (beneficiary and non-beneficiary) for the CDSC for YRB midline survey.• Assisted in mobilizing household heads for an FGD and transcribing an audio interview for a KII.• Achieved an accuracy rate of 98% by entering over 500 records with minimal errors.• Entered an average of 50 entries per hour, maintaining an error rate of less than 2%, ensuring high data integrity.• Succesfully completed data entry tasks ahead of schedule, consistently meeting deadlines.CDSC fOR YRB - Community Driven System Changes for Youth Resilience and BelongingKII - Key Informant InterviewFGD - Focused Group Discussion
