Mark Naufel is an innovator, a Professor of Practice, and a tech entrepreneur. During graduate school, Naufel was appointed by the Governor of Arizona to serve on the Arizona Board of Regents. Naufel has received master’s degrees in both Systems Engineering and Business Data Analytics, as well as his Ph.D. in Human Systems Engineering from Arizona State University. Mark is the Founder and Executive Director of Luminosity, Arizona State University’s premier innovation lab, which engages over 100 interdisciplinary students annually in labs located in Arizona, Tennessee, Boston, and Ghana. Through Luminosity, Naufel serves as the Principal Investigator on R&D efforts for many of the world’s most successful companies.During his entrepreneurial journey, Naufel has established and operated various ventures. One such initiative is a firm dedicated to assisting companies nationwide in optimizing their design, software, strategy, and analytical endeavors. Recently, Mark embarked on his latest venture, Axio, an innovative AI companion designed to enhance learning and overall personal growth.
