Associate Professor in the Townsend Institute. Duties include teaching graduate level courses in a CACREP accredited counseling program, coordinating field experiences for graduate students, and serving the University.

Served as Associate Professor in School of Psychology and Counseling. Duties over the eight years included teaching masters and doctoral level students, director of a Ph.D. Program, University committee work, chair and/or committee member of over twenty student dissertations.

Responsibilities include instruction of graduate courses in mental health counseling program (i.e., Special Issues in Abnormal Psychology: Personality Disorders; Personality Testing & Assessments; Treatment Planning Practice & Principals; and Introduction of Substance Abuse).; Provide a range of therapeutic services in an outpatient clinical setting. (i.e., crisis interventions, cognitive, developmental, academic, achievement, career, and psychological testing & evaluation; diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders; individual, and family counseling; group work (i.e., psychoeducation, counseling, and psychotherapy); substance abuse/dependency evaluation and treatment; issues and concerns surrounding international adoption; motivational interviewing;, and limited applied behavioral analysis. Other duties and tasks include supervision and training of master's level interns and licensure eligible mental health trainees.

Responsibilities include instruction of graduate courses (counseling internship, group theory & process, preventive counseling, and tests in counseling). Also developed revenue enhancement program utilizing a distance learning platform.; Responsibilities included instruction and/or co-instruction of graduate courses in life span and development, counseling practicum, group theory & process, introduction to group leadership, preventive counseling , tests in counseling, program development & evaluation, and counseling internship.; Reported to the vice president of student services for the University of Cincinnati regarding an effort to improve student success/retention. Duties included grant writing, providing oversight and statistical analysis of all data, developing collaborative relationships with various university stakeholders and formal presentations; of a pilot project seeking to implement Problem-Based Learning (PBL) across various undergraduate classroom settings; Performed various duties for the Counseling Department, College of Education: edited quarterly publication, assisted and coordinated recruitment efforts of prospective graduate students, maintained and updated department web page, supervised first year counseling graduate students, and assisted in ongoing research projects for faculty
