Overseeing the accounting function at Accurate Figures Consultants

-Budgeting and financial performance analysis-Management of the various IT/IS systems-Effective day- to -day management of the finance department-Supervision and training/mentoring of the finance staff-Processes revision, formulation,control and business process re-engineering-Management of tax issues for the firm and the partners-Audit management -Asset Financial Management-Informing and advising on the financial implications of key decisions

-Evaluating accounting information systems and associated internal controls-Advising on the technical aspects of financial reporting,accounting,and preparation of consultation memos on technical matters-Review of Risk assessments and business reports prepared by internal audit and other specialists-Local and international reporting to group /head office teams-Preparation of various business proposals and bid documents -Conducting training sessions on financial accounting methodology and IFRSs

-Preparation of Financial Statements for external use-Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts-Filing of various Tax returns to the local controlling body

-To manage the daily accounting functions on behalf of clients as well as oversee the input of all financial transactions to ensure they comply with accounting policies and accounting standards-To ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled each month and adjustments processed in a timely manner-To manage month end processes in accordance with month end checklist-To ensure all inter-company transactions are correctly reconciled and recorded each month,where relevant-To ensure that fixed assets are correctly captured in the Fixed Assets Module-To supervise junior staff working under my span of control

-Directing financial Management functions including development of monthly/quarterly management accounts-Overseeing general accounting functions including accounts receivables and accounts parables and cash flow management-Developing highly skilled accounting and financial management team to achieve established objectives-Performing inter company reconciliations-Preparing Income statements on special Contracts through the use of cost codes on Pastel to measure the level of costs incurred and revenue earned

-Preparation of monthly management accounts for decision making-Preparation of budgets -Performing variance analysis -Reviewing internal accounting controls -Advising on financial reporting requirements
