Responsible for the operation and maintenance of 35MW of 11kV/33kV grid connected Solar PV power plants and battery storage plants throughout Scotland and the Northern England.Carryout scheduled preventative maintenance inspections on Structures, Solar Modules, Inverters, battery storage, HV transformers & switchgear, AC/DC cabling and containment, power production monitoring systems & equipment, CCTV & Security and vegetation control.• Compile computer generated reports, thermal imaging and electrical schedule of tests for clients and undertake corrective maintenance where necessary.• Assist with the construction of the plant as required.• Perform corrective maintenance on all LV, HV equipment and associated switchgear• Carryout scheduled checks and maintenance actions on cabling and junction boxes insulation checks, cable replacement, thermal camera checks• Perform scheduled checks and maintenance actions on mechanical structures• Perform scheduled checks and maintenance actions on electrical components, LV, HV switchgear and inverters. • Ensure all health and safety procedures are carried out and play an active role in producing up to date risk assessments and assist with the compilation of insurance and warranty claims.• Manage relationships local subcontractors and oversee works carried out. • Provide reports on tasks undertaken.• High Voltage Switching of 11KV & 33KV and work alongside DNO

My main responsibilities as the role of Authorized Person ensuring that the site’s High Voltage Distribution System is operated safely, carrying out switching and Permit issues IAW CVF-11000385 for QEC Class units and be familiar with PPSOPU 353 for site HV operations. Work with contractors on the new install and maintenance, commissioning and setting to work of all HV equipment on board and dockside.• Manage the issue and cancellation of HV Permits to allow safe working within a complex and changing environment• To oversee and control the operation of QEC HV equipment in accordance with the established SSoW• Manage the de-confliction of multiple HV Operations in order to ensure personnel and equipment safety. • In conjunction with SAP & HV Manager carryout audits of HV SSoW• Manage the control and issue of Safety and Access Keys

Act as LV/HV Electrical AP, produce, create and issues all paper work and isolations, for PTW and LOA’s.•All electrical tasks including new installs, commissioning, pre-planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, fault finding and testing, of all Atex/DSEAR equipment, Varco systems on board including the horizontal, vertical pipe layers, hoist and crane systems, the rotating equipment and Varco power swivel and all other equipment required for deep water drilling.•Work alongside, as part of the drilling crew. Maintaining the Varco top drive and all associated drilling, lifting and control equipment.•Carry out, supervise and witness all necessary installation tests and ensure that proper records are maintained so as to facilitate the preparation of test sheets and mark up drawings to show the "as Fitted"•Ensure all work was carried out in accordance with current H&S legislation and the company health & safety procedures.
