Contributed to the schematic design and development permit process for an 875,000 sf mixed-use development. Project comprised of two residential towers, an office tower, both above respective retail podia. Highlights include an intermodal hub and ambient loop district energy system.

Led project team as design principal’s second for schematic design of several mixed use projects including tower, super-block and small infill types. My efforts were crucial in keeping a $60m project in the studio, promoted to Associate within a year of hire.Design and project documentation of 2 mixed use towers for all phases. Suite layout, loading and waste removal, and coordination with all consultants. Systems include: post tensioned slab, unitized curtain wall, rainscreen, and PTAC HVAC unit coordination.In conjuntion with Sustainability Director, led sustainability team to develop an integrated design approach, propose sustainable systems, and provide conceptual design sustainability protocol for a 144 building project on Dubai Creek in the UAE.

Contract administration of an 80,000 ft2 biomedical engineering laboratory for Rutgers University. Project earned an New Jersey AIA Merit Award.Intense field experience in higher education laboratory building systems, stick built curtainwall, and masonry cavity wall construction.

Project captain on residential projects. Responsibilities required a mainly independant operation with input from the partners and senior designer. These highly detailed projects culminated in the design of a penthouse on Canal Street in New York City. Working closely with engineers, glazing consultants, and the contractor I developed a custom, thermally broken, glazing system out of stock steel parts that was both beautiful and high performance.
