Calculation of these Tax Returns have included preparation work for Income & Expenditure statements & Rental accounts, along with share portfolio analysis including offshore funds. Advising clients in areas such as pension contributions, EII schemes, and residency scenarios. • Calculation of Capital Gains Tax including domestic and foreign assets, both Retirement Relief and Entrepreneurial relief calculations.• Calculation & submission of VAT3 Returns, VIES and Intrastat and advising clients regarding their transactions with EU & Non-EU parties. • Within corporate taxes the tax team provides support to the accounts department with advices surrounding corporation tax returns, incorporation relief & close company surcharges where applicable. Submission of DWT Returns through ROS online. • Completion of IT38 Returns through ROS offline which has involved understanding of Wills and communication with solicitors, and estate & trust planning with clients.• We provide payroll services clients using PayDay software. Advising clients on employment tax including subsistence, travel & secondments. Seamless compliance and integration of PAYE modernisation. • Invaluable experience in client communication and developing robust client relationships. Meetings with clients have included giving advice across all tax heads and further research where required.• Experience in communicating and negotiating with Revenue including over the phone discussions, aspect queries, ‘myenquiries’ communication, and Phased Payment Arrangements.
