Lifetime member of Writers Guild of America, with produced credits on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, several feature scripts optioned, and multiple media projects in development. My ST: DS9 episode "Who Mourns For Morn" was named by io9.com as #72 of the Top 100 Star Trek episodes.

I teach classes in Writing the TV Spec' Script, Writing a TV Pilot, and TV Genres, to both undergraduate and MFA students.

My first book, "The Close Encounters Man: How One Man Made the World Believe in UFOs," was published in June, 2017 by Dey Street Books, an imprint of HarperCollins.

Responsible for providing project management and technical support for 37 fleet members installing alternative fuel infrastructure and purchasing alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles· Manage $15 million ARRA grant for alternative fuel vehicle purchases and infrastructure development and ongoing reporting· Guide fleet managers through process of selecting appropriate vehicles and technologies for their applications · Approve purchase of vehicles and infrastructure equipment· Advise and consult with State Energy Office Contract Administrator on the allocation of program funds· Help coordinate timely submission of environmental impact statements for infrastructure projects· Conduct needs assessments and coordinate appropriate training programs for fleet managers, vehicle operators and maintenance technicians · Evaluate fleets’ vehicle maintenance needs and coordinate appropriate service from OEMs· Evaluate quarterly fuel economy reports and work with fleet managers to determine why some vehicles fail to perform as expected, and coordinate driver training and route/application management responses where necessary· Work with researchers at Argonne National Labs to develop new methods of calculating vehicle fuel efficiency and conduct case study of alternative fuel fleet· Work with local technical college to develop CNG fuel system training for vehicle maintenance students · Conduct site visits across the state, building relationships with fleet partners, evaluating project progress and facilitating future development
