CurrentFinancial Model Reviews: Mark has experience in performing financial modelling reviews for a number of Groups operating in a wide variety of industries where those models are relied upon by clients for financing of major capital projects or supporting significant areas of judgement within their financial statements. These reviews comprise of a range of review procedures aimed to provide assurance over the design and operating effectiveness of models. The issued reports highlight errors and areas for improvement within the models design as well as an assessment on the operating effectiveness of the model highlighting any identified arithmetic and logical calculation errors.Also responsible for leading both large and small teams of professionals through the planning, fieldwork and completion stages of the audit process on clients in sectors such as Retail, Manufacturing, Utilities, Pharmaceuticals, Logistics, etc.Responsibilities:-Planning, monitoring and performing audits of a variety of clients. -Coaching, supervising and evaluating the progress of audit field staff.-Defining and managing project resource requirements and workflow to meet engagement/project objectives and budget.-Developing strong relationships with clients and providing continuous support-Providing meaningful advice and consulting with Clients/Partners on key issues and technical queries-Developing an in-depth understanding of client operations, areas of operational strength and weakness.-Prepare financial statements, annual reports and audit committee documents for high profile companies-Experience working on group re-organisation and GAAP conversion projects.-Identifying areas of strength and weakness within company’s controls and accounting methods.-Demonstrating good communication and interpersonal skills.-Apply extensive financial and technical knowledge to ensure accounting treatments and disclosures are in compliance with Local GAAP, IFRS, Company Law, etc.
