Responsibilities included writing software for control of Self Piercing Rivetsystems integrationwith Robot and cell control systems and test software. Supporting thecommissioning teamwith site visits to support with software and electrical hardware rollout.Writing of risk assessments, electrical and pneumatic specifications andschematic drawings.Liaising and supporting the quality department on in depth investigations ofproduct failuresthrough ishikawa diagrams and 8D reportsLiaising with customers

Responsible for all electrical software programming and some mechanicalaspects forequipment operations, such as developing test equipment and software forall assemblytesting, faultfinding and continuous improvement.Continuous improvement of the manufacturing are through WI, processflows, implementing,improving build, product support and supporting training of equipmentpersonnel.Supporting the controls department on site when required for softwareroll‑outs and product support.Leasing with suppliers to develop new manufacturing process.

• Responsible For all electrical aspects in the hot end of the largest glass container manufacturer in Europe from the batching process right through to the annealing in a fully automated process.• Dealing with active and reactive maintenance of VFDs, plcs, sensors, gas combustion ovens, network systems, high temperature imaging devices.• Liaising with suppliers, other trades onsite and external contractors, managing projects and budgets of the department.

• Responsible for all maintenance and grounds keeping of a 10 story facility in Toronto and Niagara falls• Responsible for supervision of all other trades, implementing training, scheduled maintenance ,external contractors and all other aspects of the building management• Completing all work within city building regulations, applying for and passing all permits as required to ensure all work is completed legally and safely

• Learning all aspects of the electrical trade in a High Speed Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Environment with GMP• Working to ensure machines breakdowns are fixed and running with minimal downtime and to a PM schedule.• Working within a team environment with electricians , fitters and toolmakers whilst learning skills from them and also on my own initiative whenever required to ensure all tasks and projects are completed on time and in a safe work manner• Working with PLC systems, HMI, Scada systems networking and Ethernet setup. Fully automated packing lines, conveyor systems, robotics• Travelling to other company plants when required to implement service and breakdown plans of specific machinery

• Learning all aspects of the electrical trade while working under the supervision of qualified electricians and site foremen.
