Built a high performing Business Development function from scratch. Developed and negotiated three new innovative Joint Ventures opening up new markets worth over £4bn.

Responsible for the Bid Management and commercial workstream of key Offender Management bids, ensuring bids are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with internal governance procedures.Key Achievements-Won HMP & YOI Doncaster Prison bid (£250m) based on offering the first Payment by Results prison in the UK, -Global award for innovation for the Payment by Results contract.-Won, closed and mobilized 2 innovative NOMS ESF contracts (£7m).-Led commercial team in winning HMP Thameside bid (£300m)

Senior Management Team Member responsible for the Finance, IT Maintenance, catering, supplies and Prisoner Industry departments at Acacia Prison in Western Australia. This was Serco's first Prison contract in Australia.Key Achievements-Led commercial contract change negotiations delivering 5% increase in contract revenues.-Delivered 300% of organic growth into the Prison Manufacturing Industries-Executed $4m national food tender and successfully achieved stable pricing within a volatile marketplace, reducing cost inflation significantly- Managed $1m per annum capital works projects to expand industries to increase industry revenues

Responsible for Developing a Shared Service Office in Adelaide resulting in streamlined financial processes Australia-wide, centralised capital expenditure processes, which assured compliance with Group Financial Control Manual, Provided financial support to all Australian contracts and delivered consistently over budget. Chosen as transition team member for new Acacia Prison contract

Costed new range of exhausts for 4 new vehicles for both domestic and export market, business valued in excess of A$100m annually.
