Led the EMEA shift on a rota basis providing level 2/3 Prod/UAT/Dev support for the entire Investment Bank Oracle estate comprising over 5000 databases. There was a myriad of configurations encompassing Oracle technologies such as RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, Streams of version levels between 10/11G housed on Linux x86-64/Solaris SPARC architecture.In a project DBA capacity planned and executed 10G to 11G migrations of multiple databases, both standalone and RAC. Involved in defining Oracle build standards across the Investment Bank and subsequently automating the build process. Led projects to reclaim unused storage.
