I started as a controls draftsman at Wisne Design aka Progressive Tool in Southfield, MI. in 1985. Paper and pencil and the dawn of Acad, learned PLC 3 and devices of the day with over 2 years in the G.M. Oshawa plant and 2 years in the G.M. Delaware plant. moved on to Elsas Engineering P.C. in 1995. working with build shops that didn't have in-house controls staff. During that time Devicenet and HMI's took off. I would spend most of that time in Budd Detroit integrating lines from Tesco and Paslin also in Shelbyville, KY. and St. Thomas, Ont.2004 I went back to Progressive Tool for 2 more years in the Powertrain division and you guessed it back to Elsas working with spot welding cells and fluid fill devices in 2008 I went in house with The Paslin Co. which kept me busy as a Controls Engineer traveling for 9 great years working on GM HD frame line at Formet St. Thomas, Ont. Ford Fusion front and rear cradle lines for Martinrea in Hermasillo MEX. Ford F150 lines in Etown KY, Ford Stamping Buffalo, wrapped it up with RAM frame line in Monterrey MEX. etc.Currently residing in New York since 2017
