I am a member of the atmospheric composition section at ECMWF where I work on the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service and lead the activities related to monitoring global atmospheric composition and air quality in relation to emissions and transport of pollutants from sources such as forest fires, dust storms and volcanic eruptions. I also work on science communication activities including media and training related to measuring and monitoring atmospheric composition. My scientific interests and expertise cover many aspects of global atmospheric composition and the factors that influence it. I have more than 20 years experience in applying measurements from Earth Observation and in situ platforms, numerical models, and data assimilation to understand the composition and chemistry of the atmosphere and how it is changing.https://www.ecmwf.int/en/about/media-centre/news/2020/how-track-changes-atmospheric-composition-across-globeSpecialization: Earth Observation, forest fire emissions, atmospheric chemistry modelling, data assimilation.
