Mark is the CEO and Founder of a Pending AI which is a deep tech startup based in Sydney, Australia. He was a Professor of Physics at Shanghai University, China. Prior to that, he obtained his Habilitation from the University of Münster in Germany. He was a post-doc at a Max-Planck-Institute in Mülheim an der Ruhr. He obtained his PhD from the University of Sydney, and before that he carried out his undergraduate studies at the University of Tasmania.
