- Direct oversight of bank’s operational risk management reporting to the Chief Audit and Compliance Executive.• Accountable for creating the strategy and the implementation of the bank’s Enterprise Risk Management program. Lead meetings with vital business partners to identify, monitor, manage and mitigate top risks across the bank. Execute reasonable controls and discipline for bank’s overall risk appetite.• Key member of the bank’s risk management team partnering extensively with Lines of Business, Internal Audit and Compliance team members, executing risk assessment initiatives and assisting partners in accomplishing their risk and control objectives.• Responsible for bank’s vendor management program and, addressing risks of new and existing third party providers. Responsible for making the final authorization of assessments based on risk profile, benefits, costs and monitoring metrics.• Instrumental in researching and enhancing new workflow management with an online vendor and contract management solution that enables the bank to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance, and reduce operational costs at an estimated yearly savings of $50M.• Key voting member of bank’s Initiatives Committee, a central forum to prioritize, evaluate and monitor new products or services that impact multiple business lines and/or support groups; as well as participant on Compliance and Information Security Committees.• Instrumental in creating the bank’s initial cyber security risk assessment profile that resulted in vital decisions with investment in technology.• Direct oversight of all bank loan review (internally/externally) functions. Manage staff, both internally and on contract basis.• Liaison for banking agencies with regards to regulatory safety and soundness exams having successfully been effective in the early identification and timely resolutions to potential findings.

Responsible for providing support, direction, credit information, and loan policies and procedures to ensure the overall quality of the Bank's lending portfolio. Duties include making recommendations to Chief Financial Officer and Board of Directors for monthly allocations to the Loan Loss Reserve. Oversite of approval and/or declining of consumer, mortgage and/or commercial loans. Reviews large and complex loans prior to submission to Loan Committee. Responsible for participating in several committees involved in the management of the Bank. Performs direct supervisory duties of department staff, and coordinates staff for coverage in all related areas of the departments. Responsible and accountable for adherence to Bank policies and procedures.
