My current role at Surrey's special needs school, The Abbey, is multi faceted. I am a KS4 tutor working with a mixed class of Year 10's and 11's. I am the School's principal Sports Instructor planning multiple sports activities across the entire school population year 7 - 11. I am a support teacher and am the lead on our Duke of Edinburgh programme. Our students have a range of special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, Social, Language Communication Difficulties and Learning Difficulties. Recent qualifications include PTLLs, teaching in lifelong learning, HLTA, qualified minibus driver, trained in Positive Touch and MAPA, attended safeguarding children and young people training, emergency first aid training

I have worked as a coach for over 10 years, the last 2 years on a full time basis. My extensive experience includes working with groups of players as well as one to one coaching across the entire spectrum of age groups. During 2011 I worked at a number of learning disability and main stream schools located throughout Surrey for Surrey County Cricket. I worked at Shepperton CC and Stoke D’Abernon CC as well as working with a combined East Molesey and Stoke CC girls/ladies team. I worked as a coach at The Sid Lahiri Cricket Academy based at Parkside Prep School, Stoke D’Abernon coaching private clients as well as Academy attendees. I helped promote the Chance to Shine grassroots initiative and worked as a coach on Sky’s “Cricket in The Park’ public promotion.I have coached and developed players who have gone on to play representative cricket at county level as well as those playing cricket for the very first time.
