• Project manage, including budgets, from concept design through to installation and customer acceptance, lean manufacturing cells for new product implementation for customers including Ford, Jaguar, Nissan, BMW.• “Company expert” in machining, specifying the methods and equipment to be used for all new products.• Handle all aspects of purchasing of equipment including negotiations with suppliers. Purchased and installed 17 CNC machining centres complete with fixtures and tooling.• Changed manufacturing methods to reduce manning levels by replacing manual machining operations with CNC machines and by replacing manual fixtures with auto clamping versions.
