Holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.In addition to performing all of the responsibilities traditionally associated with catastrophe modelers (modeling in RiskLink, Touchstone, and Clasic/2, data analysis, reinsurance cost allocations, regulatory questionnaires, presentations to clients, RFPs etc.) I have found a unique niche in taking ideas developed by actuaries, clients, cat modelers and others and "industrializing" them using VBA. I have many years experience as a VBA programmer, which was a natural offshoot of my previous role as a software developer within the insurance industry. I enjoy providing my employer and the clients whom I service a competitive advantage in this area, especially when a more formal I.T. development initiative may not be practicable or possible.Specialties: Catastrophe modeling
