I am the quality assurance manager & internal verifier for the West midlands training centre & the direct contact for City & Guilds. Within this role the main duties and responsibilities included planning training for over 780 industrial and office based staff, ensuring the competence of Morgan Sindall workforce to enable the delivery of works, controlling a training budget of £500K +, whilst controlling and coordinating the STC process, and reviewing and evaluating the quality of training material and training delivery. I was also responsible for managing and supporting the compliance department, managing and carrying out non-compliance investigations at low, medium and high levels, as well as temporarily managing the Health and Safety department as part of the role. Finally, I completed the development and implementation of an award winning apprenticeship and gained city and guilds accreditation and direct claims for WMGA training centre. -

(Competency Assessment Process) being instrumental in its introduction & delivery.Work History Continued…1980-2005 Technician/Supervisor British Gas - Transco - National Grid Starting as an Operative, I successfully worked my way up to a technician requiring me to lay mains, services and responding to, locating and repairing gas escapes. Within this role, I effectively managed teams from up to 6 people and run projects commanding up to 5 teams. I also Coordinated the GNE qualification for the North Sector of the West Midlands, Setting up, writing and delivering many training courses over the West Midlands.
