About Mark Patten

Following a highly successful career that has spanned over 35 years, my ability to work and adapt in many different cultural and social environments is an indication of my positive nature, hardworking hands-on approach, and my proven ability to see concepts succeed from conception to completion. Since my arrival at The First Group, I have had the great pleasure of transforming our Food & Beverage business into one of the city’s leading restaurant portfolios, including the formation of our world-class TFG Food & Beverage leadership team that has reconceptualized virtually all of our F&B outlets while developing numerous cutting-edge hospitality concepts.My culinary journey started in my home country of Australia, where success as a chef took me around the world to Asia, the Caribbean, Europe and eventually Dubai in 2007. My strength from the culinary side, combined with my experience and operational knowledge in Food & Beverage has seen me grow as a senior leader within the industry today. I have had the great opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading brands including the Intercontinental Hotel Group in Hong Kong, Shangri-La Hotel Group in Singapore, Harrods of London, and Atlantis Dubai, as the Vice President of Culinary.
