I am the lead system engineer in the area of external memory interface for LPDDR devices utilised in discrete 4G and 5G modems. My responsibilities include:- Making design proposals and evaluations for the external memory sub-system for future designs.- Assessing the integration of the memory sub-system into the SoC architecture and helping to push design decision to ensure best integration, performance and power consumption- Identifying needs for future system and driving architectural decisions to fit requirements- Close collaboration with internal and external IP providers to ensure correct alignment to chosen architecture- Ensuring power and performance requirements of the external memory sub-system meet with the requirements of the system design- Writing of architectural specifications for the system requirements- Aligning on design requirements with the hardware architectural team - Responsible for the memory sub-system software architecture in bootloader and system software- Expert role for advising the software design team- Lead external memory resource for cross-functional teams (Performance, Power, Electrical and Component Validation, etc.)- First-line expert contact for the external memory sub-system for customer enquiries and support (including international on-site support)

Lead software-power-driver architect and developer for multiple discrete modem solutions in the area of the LPDDR external memory subsystem. My responsibilities included:- Power concept for the external memory sub-system, providing input to both hardware and software teams- Close alignment with hardware design team and external 3rd party suppliers to ensure hardware designs meet our requirements in terms of power and performance- Architecture of the software-power-driver module in bootloader and system software, including writing functional specifications and implementation design documents.- End-to-end responsibility of the power driver architecture to implementation of the software driver- Lead external memory bring-up engineer responsible for coordinating component verification, electrical validation, hardware and software teams, including hands-on debugging- Lead external memory engineering for dealing with customer enquiries and support, including multiple international on-site camps
